In the beginning, Flora Néctar founder and current director joined a team of students to work in an apiculture research project, funded by government subsidies. From that moment on, he was forever awakened into the world of bees and their products. That was the starting point to put in motion his own migratory apiculture project, in which, his apiaries would move into different regions, and also included different states. In 1987, the company invested in a new manufacturing plant, being awarded the SIF (Federal Inspection Service) registration, by the Ministry of Agriculture. Then company then was able to expand even more its production line, and once the brand had been consolidated in the domestic market, they also conquered the international market by exporting to many countries in Europe, Middle East, Asia, the United States and Canada. This conquest turned Flora Néctar into a synonym of quality and integrity.
